Chapters that feel painless because nearly every page is mostly picture.
Mr. Wolf, Mr. Shark, Mr. Snake, and Mr. Piranha are tired of being cast as villains, so they form a do-good club — and their first mission, freeing two hundred dogs from the pound, goes spectacularly wrong.
It looks like a real chapter book, which is a genuine point of pride for a child, but inside it reads like a movie: huge type, film-style panels, and a joke every few seconds. They'll feel like they're getting away with something.
