A bright color book that hands every color, and everything that goes with it, to boys and girls alike.
It walks through the colors one by one, and every time it says the color is for boys, and girls. Pink is on the crowns and the teddy bears. Blue is on the team jerseys. Red is on the race cars. A diverse group of children races cars, plays baseball, loves unicorns, and dresses up, and nobody is told a color or a thing belongs to only one of them.
It works like the color books your child already loves, so there's nothing to explain and nothing heavy to sit through. The idea is just baked into the pictures: a boy in a crown, a girl at bat, everyone in every color. Read it a few times and the message does its own quiet work while you're really just naming colors together on the couch.
