There is no straight story to follow; it is a book to pore over, flip through, and read in any order, exactly the way a fan wishes they could get their hands on the real thing.
Your child has memorized the show but insists they hate reading, and this is the book for them. It does not ask them to sit down with chapters; it invites them to hunt through a treasure of a notebook, decoding messages, studying monster diagrams, and finding jokes and secrets tucked in the margins.
